Iguassu Falls Tours Suggestion 
 
The texts below are only suggestions
When you arrive, always depending on the weather or situation at the borders, some times flights can arrive late. If you are planning to visit the Jesuit Missions, ruins, you must add an extra day to your itinerary. Notice: If you are coming from the Amazon or Pantanal you will probably be arriving on the afternoon or maybe on the evening flight. We remind also that there are 3 different airports in the area.
 
Suggestion 1 - Arriving at Iguazu IGR airport, Argentina and departing on the same day back to Buenos Aires.
This is for people arriving at IGR airport in Puerto Iguazu - Argentina.
The suggestions below can be customized by us, we will be happy to send a quotation.
Day tour from Buenos Aires to Iguassu Falls

FULL DAY TOUR - If you arrive in the morning Iguazu Argentinean Airport you will head to the Iguassu National Park, Brazil and visit the Brazil side of the Falls. We remind that there are borders to cross between Argentina and Brazil. As you get to the falls in Brazil you will need only 2 hours to visit it. After visiting the Brazil side, one must return to Argentina and visit the Argentine side of the Falls. As in the park, if you opt to do everything - the Superior, Inferior and Devils Throat Trails - you will walk 8 km or 5 miles. If you feel tired you can do only do the Devils Throat and Superior Trails. Later on, you will head to the Iguazu IGR Airport to catch an evening flight back to Buenos Aires.

For this trip, it is advisable to arrive on the 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. flight and depart around 8:00 p.m. To make this tour happening, one must have private transportation.
ONE CAN ALSO ARRIVE AT IGU AIRPORT IN BRAZIL AND DEPART AT IGR IGUAZU AIRPORT IN ARGENTINA or vice-versa.

 
Suggestion 2 - Little Time - Arriving at IGU airport, Brazil
1 Night in Iguassu Falls
Day 1 - If you arrive around 12 o´clock in the daytime (Brazilian Airport) and your Hotel is downtown you can check your bags in at a storage facility on the way to Argentina. You visit only part of the the Argentinean side of the falls, pick up your bags on the way back and go to your hotel. For the evening, check the options on the website.
Day 2 - In the morning you can visit the Brazilian side of the Falls. Later on, transfer to the Airport for the first-afternoon flight.
 
Suggestion 3 - Executive no Time Left - Arriving at IGU airport, Brazil
1 Night In Iguassu Falls
Day 1 - If you arrive in the afternoon (Brazilian airport) and your Hotel is downtown, go directly to the Brazilian side of the Falls and, if there is time, take the Boat Trip. Evening at the Latin Dinner Show is a nice option.
Day 2 - Head to Argentina in the early morning. If your departing flight time is late in the afternoon, you can take the full Argentinean tour and also the Safari Boat Tour. If you are short on time, you can take just the Superior and Devil´s Throat Circuits. It is also possible to visit other attraction, depending on departure time.
 

Suggestion 4 - Arriving at IGU airport, Brazil
2 Nights in Iguassu Falls
Day 1 - If you arrive in the afternoon (Brazilian Airport) and your Hotel is downtown, you can go to the hotel, check-in and go to the Itaipu Dam (the last visit begins at 4:00 p.m.). Evening at any Dinner Show is a nice option.
Day 2 - Next morning, after a very good breakfast, you will head to the Argentinean border to visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. When you arrive you will walk a lot. If you opt to do everything - the Superior, Inferior and Devil´s Throat Circuits - you will walk 8 km or 5 miles. If you feel tired you can do only the Devil´s Throat and Superior Circuits. If there is time, take the Safari and Boat Trip. On the way back from the Argentinean side of the Falls you will see Puerto Iguazu Town and then you can visit the Three-Frontier Landmark at the meeting of the Iguassu and Parana Rivers. For the evening you can check the options with the tour guide.
Day 3 - Next morning, visit the Brazilian side of the Falls. On the way, if there is time, stop at a nice steak house. There is also another option, the Bird Park or maybe the helicopter ride. Later on, you will head to the Airport to catch your departing flight.


For this trip, it is advisable to arrive on the 12:15 p.m. flights and depart after midday.


 
Suggestion 5 - Arriving at IGU airport, Brazil
For this trip, it is suggested that you arrive on the first flight in the morning and depart after 4:00 p.m.
2 Nights In Iguassu Falls
Day 1 - Brazilian side of the Falls, if there is time, take the Safari and Boat Trip. On the way, one can visit also the Bird Park or take the helicopter ride. Evening at any Dinner Show is a nice option.
Day 2 - Next morning, after breakfast, you will head to the Argentinean border to visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. When you arrive you will walk a lot. If you take the Superior, Inferior and Devil´s Throat trails you will walk 8 km or 5 miles. If you feel tired you can do only the Devil´s Throat and Superior trails. If there is time, take the Safari Boat Trip. Lunch could be added on this day.
Day 3 - Morning you will visit the Itaipu Dam. There are also other options - check the website. Afternoon - check out and transfer to the airport.

 
Suggestion 6 - Arriving at IGU airport, Brazil
2 Nights in Iguassu Falls
Day 1 - If you are arriving in the afternoon (Brazilian Airport) and your Hotel is the das Cataratas - Belmond in the national park, you can check-in and decide if you want to take the Boat Trip on this day or on the next day. You can take a walk and see the sunset at the Falls.
Day 2 - Next morning, after a very good breakfast, you will head to the Argentinean border to visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. When you arrive, you will walk a lot. If you take the Superior, Inferior and Devil´s Throat Trails you will walk 8 km or 5 miles. If you feel tired you can do only the Devil´s Throat and Superior Trails. It is possible to take the Safari and Boat Trip on this day. 
Day 3 - Morning check out and departure for the visit of the Itaipu Dam and Bird Park or maybe the helicopter ride. Afterwards, transfer to the airport.
 
Suggestion 7 - Arriving at IGU airport, Brazil
3 Nights In Iguassu Falls
Day 1 -
If you arrive on the 11:50 p.m. flight (Brazilian Airport) and your hotel is downtown, sleep well.
Day 2 - Bird Park and the Brazilian side of the Falls in the morning, lunch at the Falls, Safari and Boat trip and White Water Rafting on the Iguassu River in the afternoon. There is time also in this day for the helicopter ride. To make it happen one must be on private transportation.  
Day 3 - Next morning, after breakfast, you will head to the Argentinean border to visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. When you get there you will walk a lot. If you take the Superior, Inferior and Devil´s Throat Circuit you will walk 8 km or 5 miles. If you feel tired you can do only the Devil´s Throat and Superior Trails. It is possible to take the Safari and Boat Trip on this day. On the way back from the Argentine side of the Falls you will see Puerto Iguazu Town and you can visit the Landmark of the Three Frontiers at the meeting of the Iguassu and Parana Rivers. You can end the afternoon at the swimming pool. Evening at any Latin Show and Dinner is a nice option.
Day 4 - Morning, visit the Itaipu Dam, hotel check-out, later on transfer to the Airport for an afternoon flight.
 

Suggestion 8 - Arriving at IGU airport, Brazil
4 Nights In Iguassu Falls
Day 1 - If you arrive in the afternoon (Brazilian Airport) and your hotel it is downtown, check-in and explore the city on foot. Evening at any Show and Dinner is a nice option.
Day 2 - Morning, Bird Park and the Brazilian side of the Falls, a nice lunch at the Falls and the Safari and Boat Trip in the afternoon.
Day 3 - Next Morning, after a very good breakfast you will head to the Argentinean border to visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. When you get there you will walk a lot. If you take the Superior, Inferior and Devil´s Throat Trails you will walk 8 km or 5 miles. If you feel tired you can do only the Devil´s Throat and Superior Trails. 


Day 4 - Morning cruise on the Parana River to visit the Bertoni Museum, lunch including fish dishes from the Parana River. Visit Cuidad del Este, Paraguay, in the afternoon.
Day 5 - Morning, visit the Itaipu Dam, hotel check-out, later on, transfer to the airport for an afternoon flight.

Don´t forget there are many optional tours, especially for the evening, check the options on the website. All the suggestions above are for people arriving at and departing from the Airport in Brazil (IGU).


 

Suggestion 9 - Arriving at IGU airport, Brazil
4 Nights In Iguassu Falls
Day 1 - If you arrive in the morning (Brazilian Airport) and your hotel it is downtown, check-in. Later on, visit the Itaipu Dam. Evening at any Show and Dinner is a nice option.
Day 2 - Morning, Bird Park, helicopter ride and the Brazilian side of the Falls, a nice lunch at the Falls and the Safari and Boat Trip in the afternoon.
Day 3 - Next morning, after a very good breakfast you will head to the Argentinean border to visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. When you get there you will walk a lot. If you take the Superior, Inferior and Devil´s Throat Trails you will walk 8 km or 5 miles. If you feel tired you can do only the Devil´s Throat and Superior Circuits. 


Day 4 - Morning, visit Ciudad del Este in Paraguay, lunch in Paraguay and visit of Salto Monday.
Day 5 - Morning, explore the city on foot. Hotel check-out, later on, transfer to the airport for an afternoon flight.

Suggestion 10 - Arriving at IGR airport, Argentina and the hotel it is in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina
This is for people arriving at IGR airport in Puerto Iguazu - Argentina.
The suggestions below are related to Packages 19, 12 and 16 which you can see on the website.
2 Nights in Iguassu Falls

Day 1 - If you arrive at noon (Argentinean Airport) IGR and your Hotel is in Argentina, you can go to the hotel, check in and go to the Itaipu Dam (last visit begins at 4:00 p.m.). Evening at any Show and Dinner is a nice option.
Day 2 - Next morning, after a very good breakfast, you will head to the Argentinean border to visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. When you arrive you will walk a lot. If you opt to do everything - the Superior, Inferior and Devil´s Throat Trails - you will walk 8 km or 5 miles. If you feel tired you can do only the Devil´s Throat and Superior Circuits. If there is time, take the Safari and Boat Trip. For the evening you can check the options with the tour guide.
Day 3 - Next morning, visit the Brazilian side of the Falls. On the way, if there is time, stop at a nice steak house. There is also another option, the Bird Park. Later on you will head to the IGR Airport to catch an afternoon flight back to Buenos Aires. 

For this trip, it is advisable to arrive on the midday flight and depart after 3:30 p.m. (if you don´t stop at the Bird Park or lunch one can depart before). 

 
Suggestion 11 - Arriving at IGR airport, Argentina and your hotel it is in Brazil
This is for people arriving at IGR airport in Puerto Iguazu - Argentina.
For this trip, it is suggested that you arrive around 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. and depart on the third day at 4:00 p.m.
2 Nights In Iguassu Falls
Day 1 - If you arrive at noon (Argentinean Airport) IGR and your Hotel is in Brazil, you can go directly to visit the Brazilian side of the Falls, if there is time, on the way one can visit also the Bird Park or take the helicopter ride. Evening at any Show and Dinner is a nice option.
Day 2 - Next morning, after breakfast, you will head to the Argentinean border to visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. When you arrive you will walk a lot. If you take the Superior, Inferior and Devil´s Throat Circuits you will walk 5 miles. There is time also to take the Safari Boat Trip. Lunch could be added on this day.
Day 3 - Morning - visit of the Itaipu Dam power plant would be a good idea. There are also other options - check the website. Afternoon - check-out and transfer to the airport IGR in Argentina or even IGU airport in Brazil.

 
Suggestion 12 - Arriving at AGT airport and your hotel is in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay
2 Nights in Iguassu Falls
Day 1 - If you are arriving in the afternoon (Paraguayan Airport) and your Hotel is in Ciudad del Este you can check-in and visit the Itaipu Dam in Paraguay.
Day 2 - Next morning, after a very good breakfast, you will head to the Argentinean border to visit the Argentinean side of the Falls. When you arrive, you will walk a lot. If you take the Superior, Inferior and Devil´s Throat Trails you will walk 8 km or 5 miles. If you feel tired you can do only the Devil´s Throat and Superior Circuits. It is possible to take the Safari and Boat Trip on this day.
Day 3 - Morning check out and departure for the visit of the Brazilian side of the Iguassu Falls and Bird Park or maybe the helicopter ride. Afterwards, transfer to the AGT Guarani airport in Paraguay. It is also possible to depart from IGU in Brazil or IGR in Argentina.
