click to enlargeIf you are in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, and want to visit the Itaipu Dam from the Paraguayan side, it is easy to get there. The Dam it is about 14 km north of Friendship Bridge, between Paraguay and Brazil. It is on the way to Hernandarias and the Tati Yupi Biological Refuge. On the way, you can also visit the Natural History Museum and Zoo.

Visit Itaipu Dam in Paraguay it is free of charge. It is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
