click to enlargeThis world-class Bird Park is situated on 12 acres of native subtropical forest. It offers tourists, ecologists, photographers and ornithologists an opportunity to interact with birds in their natural habitat without the restrictions as you enter huge, 10-meter high, like the forest aviary. There are also the pantanal aviary, the paradise of golden parakeets, reptile refuge, refuge of the harpy eagles, macaw aviary, kingdom of the butterflies, three of life, interaction with macaws, interaction with snakes, owls place, flamingos colony, etc. There are over 160 species, both indigenous and from other continents.

Full facilities are available including a snack bar, restaurant and a souvenir shop. Disabled people pay half.
Admission fee: USD $14.00
Location: at the entrance to the Iguassu National Park, Brazil
Approximate time: 90 minutes
Travel distance: 14 km (9 miles), from the center of the city of Iguassu Falls
Open: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
 
Bird Park - Conecta
Conecta is an intimate visit, monitored by an educator from Parque das Aves, which offers bird watching and feeding experiences, with access to aviaries and exclusive trails behind the parkĀ“s backstage. The tour also includes a conversation with a park qualified employee at the end of the tour, a coffee break for tasting the flavors of the forest using unconventional plants (PANCs) and an entrance ticket for the traditional tour of Parque das Aves, which can be used on the same day or another.

Maximum 8 people per schedule;
Children from 0 to 8 years old are free, as long as they are accompanied by a paying person (one child per paying person).
