Great Adventure Boat Trip (2 hours tour)
click to enlargeYou will do this tour while visiting the falls in Argentina. It is a combination tour with the falls in Argentina (full day).

Great Adventure or Gran Aventura in Spanish, combines in a single trip the essence of Iguazu National Park, departing from the Visitors Center, by the Yacaratia trail in trucks designed for that environment, with Bilingual guides (Spanish and English) that will introduce you to the sub-tropical rain forest that is one of the natural resources of the place.

Its a 5 km stretch that ends at Puerto Macuco´s pier, where visitors board the boats that sail in the Lower Iguazu River, for 5 km towards the waterfalls area, enjoying plentiful rapids, all the way to the Tres Mosqueteros Waterfalls, visitors are able to see the falls in Argentine and Brazil sides. A great view of the Garganta del Diablo (Devils Throat) from a distance. The most exciting point comes when facing the incomparable San Martin waterfall, the second in dimension and the hugest the boat will face. If the park is crowded (too many people), one need to skip lunch to be able to visit the lower trail. Some people call this tour also jet boat ride.

CHILDREN 12 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER ARE ALLOWED TO RIDE GRAN AVENTURA OR AVENTURA NAUTICA UPON PRESENTATION OF PROOF OF AGE. ( PASSPORT OR ID).
If one is disabled or have problems climbing stairs or had a big surgery, we suggest taking the Safari Boat Ride on the Brazilian side.
